The place where we stayed was called Kenegie Manor, so this is the manor. We didn't actually stay inside the manor, but at one of the cottages in the grounds.

Hello from Cornwall!!

So... If you've read my last post, you'll know that I am now on holiday (even though I am back on Saturday!). Just thought I would update from here so I can say I have. It's been a great week, and the weather has been BEAUT-EE-FUL!!! I only took my iPad, so I have no way of getting my photos onto here at the moment, but as soon as I am home, I shall post a few (maybe not as SOON as I get home!!)


Ooohh. Just before I go, I have set up a website with some of my work on (all be it, mainly uni work) to improve my professional practice. Sooo, if you want to, maybe, visit it and leave me some feedback? Please?

Goodbye Shropshire! Hello Cornwall!

So, this will probably be my last post for at least a week, as on Saturday I am going away (ohh, that sounds sinister). No, I just mean I'm going on holiday for a week down Cornwall. Now there is free wireless connection where we are going, but it's only in a certain place, so if I take my laptop with me, and am in this place then I shall try and post some pics, but otherwise, you will just have to wait until I get back!

Works of...children?

So, for this Summer Brief, two of the things we have to research and draw are two children, one aged 8-10 months, and the other aged 5. I've been researching illustrators who draw children, and have found a lot of illustrators do this, but these are just some that have appealed to me, and my work.

How's everyone's summer?

Well, it's been a while since I've made a post, so I just thought I make a post to see how everyone's summer is going. I'm busy working on our Summer Brief. But at the end of August, I'm going on holiday, so it's not all bad!
